Maize grits

Maize gritsare produced by processing maize kernels.

Ground maize grits – crushed particles of maizekernels of various shapes obtained by separating the amniotic membrane and the nucleus, polished, with rounded edges. Ground maize grits are divided into five numbers, depending on the sizeof thegrains.

Maize gritsare characterized by high content of vitamins - group B, A, E, PP, and microelements - iron, silicon. Maize grits are referred to low allergenic grits which is especially important for children's nutrition, as well as useful for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

Maize grits offered by Agricultural Holding “August” – the group of companies that works professionally in the agricultural market of Ukraine–meet all the mandatory requirements of GOST 6002-69 (except grinded maixe grits which meet the requirements of TUU 46.22.053-94).

Each lot of grits is supported by documentation on the quality of products. The document includes quality characteristics indicated by marks of the control of toxic elements, mycotoxins, radionuclides and pesticides.
